Sometimes the most random signs catch our attention.

I spent a nice afternoon walking the zoo with my family and suddenly realized it wasn’t as busy as before, so I checked the time and noticed they close in 5 minutes.

We decided to squeeze in one last loop to see the otters and “stick bugs.”

The otters weren’t out. But as we were heading toward the exit, one sign caught my eye…

Water conservation.

Not something I usually stop to read, but this time I did. And I’m glad I did.

A simple reminder that what we do on land doesn’t just stay where we "think" we put it. It moves... It moves to the water, the plants, the animals… and sticks around a lot longer than we'd wish.

Killing weeds, sun’s out, job’s rolling smooth.

Long days in the heat call for something more than just coffee.

I’m not a big breakfast guy, at least not first thing in the morning. But come 10am, when the sun’s already beating down and the day's work is well underway, I can’t run on caffeine alone.
